The object of this club will seek to implant in the youth of our community ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty and courage. This objective will be achieved by providing recreational activity for as many of our youth as the organizational personnel deems necessary and as parental participation will allow. All shall bear in mind that exceptional athletic skill and the winning of games are secondary and that the formation of sound character is of prime importance. Though the name Evergreen Park Boys Club may be construed as limited, registration of participants will be open to any child, male or female, within the age limits of their respective playing divisions.
Although warm weather seems far away, the Executive Board has been hard at work preparing for another exciting season. The Evergreen Park Boys Club has been a volunteer driven organization. We will continue to rely solely on volunteers to complete the daily tasks that are required to run the organization. For those of you who have volunteered, we thank you! For those of you who have not, we ask that you please consider offering some of your time and talents.
We are excited to offer “Babe Ruth” level baseball for our 13 & 14 year olds who have finished in the Majors. EPBC will continue to organize teams to compete in the Chicago Sunday Baseball league from the 8 through 12 year old levels (not to interfere with our regular season). Sunday Baseball teams will only made up of EPBC players.

League meetings are open to all members of the EPBC. Members are encouraged to attend at least 5 meetings per season in order to be eligible to vote for executive board members. Unless otherwise noted, meetings are typically held on the 2nd Monday or Tuesday of every month (except November & December) at 8:00 PM. at Hamilton B. Maher Community Center, EP American Legion Hall or Duffy Park crows nest. Our 2020 Tentative season meeting schedule is as follows:
