Special News
Ripken Baseball (RBI) has announced that it has entered
a partnership with Babe Ruth League (BRL) and the
American Sport Education Program (ASEP) in which ASEP
will provide online training and certification for the
organizations’ nearly 200,000 baseball and softball
coaches beginning December 2006. Registration for the
program is available now at
www.RipkenCoaching.org.
As a member of the BRL and RBI, the EPBC must require
all managers and coaches to successfully complete
coaching education and certification by the deadline of
July 2008. For most managers and coaches, the EPBC
will require this certification prior to the 2009
baseball season. Because the All-Star teams play
into July, all managers and coaches must complete this
education in order to qualify for state tournaments.
